Word! Also, I'd like to agree the collage is fantastic.
My child had to to write about why her mum was the best in the world, but didn't bring it home because she wasn't pleased with the outcome, didn't win the in-class competition, and couldn't think of good answers to the prompt that were technically correct. 'It's not like you're a Prime Minister or film star.'
Lordy! Was there something in the water this year?! Poor child, that's a hard task to answer at an age when we are often not their favourite person! Also, interesting to know the high bar set for being 'the best in the world' is a mix of political and performance achievement!
I was a little surprised too - so subjective- but maybe it added motivation for some. A pragmatically said it was won by the ones who were really into feelings ;)

Yes, it's a tough ask huh. Admittedly she did make me a card (saying 'happy MOTHer's day - haha you're a moth') so I'll take what I can get!
I’d take that as well. Moths are cool. I’m still slightly surprised by the in-class competition. Why must we compete for unwinnable things?

HAHAHAHA emotional intelligence wins the day! But also, sad face.
